    Readmission Application  
   

This application is for students who were at any time previously enrolled at Newberry College as degree-seeking post-secondary students. To complete this application and submit it for review, all of the materials listed below must be received by the Office of Admission: 

  • Completed Application for Readmission
  • Official final transcripts from all previous colleges attended (if applicable)

    First-time Student Application  
   

This application is for new degree-seeking first-time students. In order for the application to be reviewed for admission, the following materials must be received by the Office of Admission:

  • Completed Application for Admission
  • Official transcript(s) of high school records
  • Official score reports of SAT or ACT
  • Letter of Recommendation (Not required, may be requested on case-by-case basis) Send via email: admission@newberry.edu

Additionally, a certification of graduation from an approved secondary school is required prior to enrollment. Under special circumstances, the General Educational Development Test (GED) is accepted.

    Transfer Student Application  
   

This application is for students who have been previously enrolled in another post-secondary institution and have earned post-secondary credits. To complete this application and have it submitted for review, the following materials must be received by the Office of Admission:

  • Completed Application for Admission
  • Official transcripts from ALL previous colleges or universities attended

Please send your official transcripts to 2100 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108 or electronically to admissions@newberry.edu. In order for a transcript to be considered official, it needs to be received directly by Newberry from your previous institution. 

Note: Transfer applicants who have LESS than 24 completed semester hours, or 36 quarter hours, will also need to submit a final high school transcript and official ACT or SAT score reports. Applicants age 25 or more are exempt from submitting ACT or SAT scores, but will still need to provide a final high school transcript or a copy of GED certificate. 
    International Student Application  
   
  • Completed Application for Admissions
  • Official final transcripts from high school or all previous colleges attended
  • Official score reports of SAT or ACT (for freshmen and for transfer students with fewer than 24 semester hours of completed college credit)
  • Scores from the TOEFL
  • Transcript Evaluations from WES or ECE
  • Statement of Financial Responsibility and Support

Enrollment fee of $100 is required to reserve your space in the class. Newberry College does not charge additional fees for verifying student's identity upon initial enrollment. Students enrolled in courses which require proctored assessment may take those exams free of charge on the Newberry College campus. Students taking a proctored assessment over the internet may be required to use a proctoring service such as ProctorU. Fees for using these third party services are not included in regular tuition and are the responsibility of the student.
