CRJ 312  Criminal Justice and the Law. (3) (SOC 347)

Prerequisite: CRJ 101 or CRJ 246.

Analysis of the American criminal justice system, focusing on the nature of criminal law, roles and functions of police, the criminal justice process, the court system, and treatment of offenders.
