EDU 550: Teaching Literacy through the Content Areas

Teaching literacy within the framework of content area classes is addressed in this course. A focus is on the ways to develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in all curriculums. In today's educational landscape, the ability to comprehend, analyze, and effectively communicate complex subject matter is paramount. This course equips teachers with the knowledge and techniques to create a literacy-rich environment that enhances student learning, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

(This is an accelerated 7.5 weeks course, for the fully online graduate program - Master of Education in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum, Master of Education  - Graduate Division.)
