This training program is designed to provide instructors with a sound understanding of the instructional features of the online course platform used by Newberry College known as Wolf Den.  This Course management System helps you manage your course material and also communicate with students quickly, easily, and effectively. In this training we will explore many of the key features of eLearning in the Wolf Den setting.

The goals for this course are: 

• Provide you with the knowledge and technical skills to effectively build and navigate courses and communicate with your students using Wolf Den in an asynchronous, synchronous and Hybrid classroom. 
• Provide foundational theories and best practices to create effective student engagement through Faculty presence, interesting and educational content, and interactive communications to foster a high-quality learning experience for all Newberry students. 
• Offer you, as a faculty member, the experience of Wolf Den from the learner’s perspective and the opportunity to share ideas with your colleagues to build a stronger, more connected Newberry faculty community, as we learn together.  
• Provide a few real-world hints about some of the unique challenges and quirks of the Wolf Den LMS so you will be prepared to navigate them effectively within your classes.
