Faculty Online Training: This is an overview of best practices in Online/Blended learning as well as specific on navigating Newberry College's eLeanring LMS system.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES (SLOs):

Newberry College is committed to monitoring student learning for continual program improvement. This class has course-level student learning outcomes (SLOs listed below) that are aligned to overall program learning outcomes:
1) Navigate, edit and understand the instructional features of the online eLearning LMS course platform.
2) Understand usage of features, functions, and tools in the LMS along with step-by-step instructions on the technical use of the tools available to faculty within the eLearning LMS platform.
3) Create a practice course during this training, to experiment, create content and exercise use in the various tools and features in this eLearning LMS.

1) Enable faculty to become digitally fluent in the Jenzabar eLearning online course platform.
2) Encourage faculty to use additional digital tools to enforce student engagement in the eLearning online course platform.
3) Provide faculty with their online course sandbox for exploring and creating content in a safe-student-free online classroom.
