HCM 420 Long Term Care Administration (3cr)

This course is an investigation of the management of a skilled nursing facility, long term acute care facilities, and assisted living facility. Students will study the day-to-day operational policies and procedures of long-term care facilities. Content includes allied health services, social services, rehabilitation services, nutritional programs, risks, and safety concerns. Students will review legal, regulatory, and ethical concepts that impact long term care facilities.
