Description
This course is an examination of the management of a skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility. Students will study the day-to-day operational policies and prodcedures of long term care facilities. Content includes: allied health services, social services, rehabilitation services, nutritional programs, and safety concerns. Students will review legal, regulatory, and ethical concepts that impact long erm care facilities. Computer technology is required in this course.
