Description
This course is designed to give teacher candidates practical training in the teaching of mathematics on the secondary level (9-12). Teacher candidates will become familar with National Mathematics Standards from NCTM. Students will develop knowledge of instructional strategies, activities, and materials essential for effective teaching of mathematics in secondary schools. Twenty-four hours of field experience will be required. Required for teacher certification in Mathematics. Open only to students in Teacher Education Program.
